Don't leave home without these!

Coeliac disease means being prepared at all times, I am sure you can think of a time that you have gone out and wished you were more organised! If you haven't experienced that yet, then trust me you will! This is why I have an gluten-free survival kit always on me or in my car!
The Gluten Free Survival Kit
Cutlery - You never know when you're going to need it. For example, you grab a gluten free meal deal and there is no cutlery available. Or, you have to create your own sandwich in the car and you need a knife etc. I've been in a scenario where I have had to make a nutella sandwich because I was starving and there was no other option for me, so having a knife came in handy! I really recommend you buy this one off Amazon.
Snack Bars - I don't leave the house without one. My favour
ite are the Free Oat Bars. They are so good and Coeliac UK approved.
Restaurant Translation card - If you're out and are trying to explain that you're coeliac and someone looks at you confused, or you're abroad and struggling with mistranslation. Restaurant translation cards mean that you can eat out worry free, no miscommunication. I even use these in my own country because sometimes it's easier to pass them something with all the information they need than to explain it out loud. See my reviews on here!
Imodium - Sometimes you're glutened and suffering. You never want to be in a position where you're dealing with the side effects and have nothing on you to treat them. I always keep imodium on me in case! It helps to relieve diarrhoea.
Ginger Tablets - These are harder to come by in the UK, I discovered them in Canada. But, they are a LIFE SAVER. Stomach ache? Nausea? My go to is a ginger tablet, sometimes I wonder if it is a placebo effect but I honestly do believe these help and there is a reason for them existing. I highly recommend you get some and keep them on you, in the UK they are the Seaband ginger tablets, you can get them in Boots, Superdrug or Amazon.
Electrolytes/Hydration Sachets - If you've suffered from glutening, then these help you to recover by restoring lost fluids and minerals. There are loads of brands, this is one that is gluten free. Nuun
Pain Killers - Always good to carry some on you, coeliac or not!
Hand Sanitiser - This is such an essential for me, before eating or just to try keep your immune system strong!
Activated Charcoal - Disclaimer *Please check with your doctor before taking these as they can impact the absorption of medication.* However, I like to have these on me as they can help with bloating/ gas and diarrhoea. I recommend Holland & Barretts ones.
More Snacks - You can never have enough snacks on you!
