I recently visited the Canterbury Food & Drink Festival, and as someone who eats gluten free (and coeliac safe!), I was really curious to see what options would be available.
Spoiler alert: I was pleasantly surprised! š There was a great range of gluten free optionsĀ not just your usual dry brownie or salad. Here are some of the gluten free stalls I found:
š Gluten Free Stalls & Highlights

Dunk Cookies Absolutely incredible gluten free cookies gooey, rich, and not crumbly at all! They also had a vegan option. Easily one of the best GF cookies Iāve ever tried.
Duck Wraps Offered a gluten free duck saladĀ with duck fat potatoes. I didnāt get to try it, but it looked amazing and itās definitely on my list for next time!
French CrĆŖpes They had both sweet and savoury crepes made with a gluten free mix. Super tasty and a rare treat to find at festivals!
Wrap It This stall featured wraps inspired by cuisines from around the world (think Greek, Chinese, Indian). While I wasnāt totally sure what the gluten free option was, it looked like they had a salad-based GF alternative.
Pad Thai A selection of authentic gluten free rice dishes. From what I could see, most (if not all) of their dishes were GF-friendly!
š Final Thoughts

I was genuinely impressed by the variety of gluten free food optionsĀ at the festival not just the typical "safe" items. Itās always exciting to discover more food vendors and events that cater to coeliacs and gluten free eaters.
If youāre ever near Canterbury in late September, the Food & Drink Festival is 100% worth checking out!
